It’s a well-known fact that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are obsessed with each other. The twosome, who began dating in January, routinely fill their Instagram pages with posts gushing about their relationship. Granted, they haven’t really said much about one another; instead, they let pictures do the talking.
Like in June, when Gomez shared a photo of The Weeknd’s Forbes cover to her Instagram Stories, and he returned the favor by bragging about her Coach campaign. Or last month, when The Weeknd took an 11-hour flight to visit Gomez on her birthday, and he documented his pilgrimage on Instagram Stories. He also Insta-stalks Gomez on the reg—but, like, in a cute way. Basically, everything this friggin’ couple does is adorable.
But their latest social media lovefest is, by far, the best. Both Gomez and The Weeknd scored September issue magazine covers this month (she’s on InStyle; he’s on Harper’s Bazaar), and of course they took to Instagram to brag on each other. It all started when Gomez posted The Weeknd’s cover—which he shares with Irina Shayk and Adriana Lima—to her Instagram Stories, along with a heart:

It didn’t take long for The Weeknd to respond. He then posted a stunning pic from Gomez’s InStyle editorial—and scribbled an “xo” on top of it (ya know, in case he wasn’t getting his point across).

The affection didn’t stop there, though. The Weeknd “liked” all the photos of Gomez’s InStyle shoot that she posted to Instagram—and she did the same with the ones he uploaded from Harper’s Bazaar.

So sweet, right? But here’s the lingering question: How did these two celebrate their September covers IRL? My money’s on a trip to the Olive Garden. They’ve been known to frequent the Olive Garden.
