Shannon Beador may have told Vicki Gunvalson that she no longer wants to be friends, but Gunvalson isn’t going away quietly.
On Monday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Gunvalson responded to Beador’s allegations that she had lied about ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers‘ cancer diagnosis by threatening to expose Beador’s lies about her relationship with husband David.
“I have secrets of Shannon that she told me in confidence about her relationship with David,” Gunvalson, 54, told viewers. “And I’ve put it in a box and put the padlock one and I have the key hidden. However she keeps pushing at me and being mean to me, I might pull out the little secret she doesn’t want anyone to know.”
She continued, “Shannon’s been accusing me of lying for over a year now. And I know she’s been lying something about her marriage. And I’m tired of it. She’s gotta stop pushing my buttons. She pushes the wrong button, it’s all over. And it’s going to be very hurtful for her and her family.”
The accusation threw Shannon for a loop.
“Please tell me what I’ve lied about,” she challenged Gunvalson at Meghan King Edmonds‘ store opening. “I have not lied about a thing. I am not a liar. Tell me what I’ve lied about.”
“I wished you well,” Shannon continued. “I tried to be nice and say I’m sorry you were in an accident and got hurt. I don’t want to be your friend.”
But Gunvalson remained quiet on the specific untruth. “We all lie! You’ve lied too,” she simply accused Shannon, before calling Shannon a “bitch” behind her back.
It was a move that had Shannon questioning Gunvalson’s motives.
“Why is she calling me a liar and then not telling anybody what the big lie is?” Shannon wondered. “Because there is no lie! I am not going to allow Vicki to threaten me with something she refuses to expose. Are you bluffing me Vicki? You trying to threaten me with some empty threat? Because I haven’t lied.”
One other person knew the lie though – Kelly Dodd. “She does have something on her,” Dodd told Heather Dubrow and Tamra Judge of Gunvalson and Shannon. “It’s horrible. I know for a fact that [Shannon] has secrets. Proven.”
Dubrow was annoyed. “The thing about being magnanimous about keeping a secret is you don’t say anything about it,” she explained. “This is a treat, I don’t like this. And I don’t want to know what it is.”
Ironically, it was Gunvalson who was lying about her argument with David at the infamous ’70s party. Or perhaps, misremembering.
Gunvalson claimed David had attacked her unprovoked. “He called me a pig,” she said. “He’s a piece of s—. I was talking to this gentleman I had just met and David said don’t talk to her. That’s what the truth is.”
But a clip from the ’70s party showed that Gunvalson had been negatively speaking about Shannon at the time David choose to speak up. “His choice of words, Vicki, was absolutely inappropriate,” Shannon told Gunvalson. “But he was provoked by you. You don’t accept any responsibility for your role.”
By episode’s end, Shannon had decided to play nice with Gunvalson – joking around with her at Dubrow’s book launch and making plans with the larger group to go on a girls trip to Ireland.

“For months now I’ve being saying that I have forgiven Vicki. So I need to show everybody that I can have fun with Vick. I have no problem having a good time with her. But I’m still not going to be her best friend,” Shannon said.
Judge wasn’t sure if that was the case.
“I have no idea what Vicki can possibly have on Shannon, but I think Shannon is scared and that’s why she’s being nice to Vicki.” she said. “It’s all very suspicious.”
“I’m calling bulls—,” Judge added. “But I’m really hoping they can move past it and get along.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Mondays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
