When will John Legend and Chrissy Teigen stop being so adorable? The answer to this eternal question is hopefully a loud “um, never?” and today we’re blessed with even more video proof to prove it, as if we didn’t already have enough. When the world’s cutest couple guested on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live with Trevor Noah, Legend decided to flex his comedic chops by donning a blonde wig to impersonate his wife and read some of her best Twitter zingers aloud. We get it: It’s tough being married to one of social media’s certifiably funniest people. He’s gotta get a few laughs too, right?
Legend truly does bring the LOLs in this video, and he makes it a family affair. Although Legend’s music video for “Love Me Now” featured the couple’s baby Luna in her music video debut, she was featured again on WWHL, but this time it was more of a tribute than a starring role—baby Luna was represented by a plastic doll that Legend used as a prop. Still nice to be included, right? The baby doll was an integral part of the segment because it had John playing Chrissy by reading her epic clapback replies to trolls on Twitter, many of whom had some pretty stupid things to say about how Chrissy held baby Luna in a pic from months ago. John’s impression is both loving (he clearly is in awe of her humor) and adorably bad (look at him in that blonde wig, you guys).
Watch his impression, below.
And don’t worry, looks like Chrissy was OK with the joke (somewhat).
