Prince William and Prince Harry have pretty intense schedules, and yet they still found time to make cameo appearances in the new Star Wars film. Yes, the two royal brothers play Stormtroopers in the new film, aptly titled Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which will no doubt make buckets of cash at the box office this weekend. To celebrate their roles, both Prince Harry and Prince William made dapper appearances at the London premiere of the film. They looked on point, obviously, smiling and waving to photographers as decked-out Stormtroopers surrounded them. Luke Skywalker was essentially shaking in his boots the entire time. Kidding.
But the fun didn’t end at the premiere. Prince William and Prince Harry actually threw an after party for the cast and crew at Kensington Palace. Well, they didn’t throw it, per se, but it was hosted at Kensington Palace—on the public section of the property, run by the Historic Royal Palaces charity. The Royal Family didn’t fund this bash, according to the Daily Mail, but anything thrown at Kensington Palace is at least royals adjacent. Right?
The film’s stars, including Laura Dern, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega, all attended the party, along with some other famous faces, like Andrew Garfield and Rita Ora. The Mail reports Prince Harry and Prince William didn’t attend the event.
Dern posted several pics of the event to her Instagram. Check them out for yourself, below:
