The First Pics of Royal Baby Number Three Are Obviously Adorable

Royal baby number three has officially arrived—and now so have the first photos. The duchess of Cambridge and Prince William welcomed their third child, a boy, on Monday (April 23) at St. Mary’s Hospital in London. Shortly after, Prince George and Princess Charlotte stopped by the hospital to meet their new sibling. And now that the whole family has said hello, the world gets to see the baby. The duchess emerged from the hospital on Monday afternoon with Prince William by her side and her new son in her arms. The photos and videos, naturally, are delightful.

Check out footage, below, of the duchess and Prince William walking outside for the first time with their son. They were greeted by hundreds of cameras and adoring fans, of course.

For this debut, Catherine wore a red dress with a white lace neckline. Prince William kept things simple and classic with a powder blue button-down under a navy blazer.

Kensington Palace shared a pic of Kate and Prince William with their son on Twitter too. “Welcome to the family,” reads the tweet.

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz,” Kensington Palace announced on Monday morning. “The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well. “

Later, the Palace tweeted, “Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank all staff at the hospital for the care and treatment they have received. They would also like to thank everyone for their warm wishes.”
